Metamorphosis...

Metamorphosis is a means to help you ease unconscious tension and in doing so become lighter and more aware. It is a way to help shift our world into a more peaceful and harmonious place to live. As each person eases their own tension the collective tension eases and we will be able to create peace.

The principles give you a simple perspective to view tension from - and you will see people's issues in a new light. Personality traits are actually patterns of tension that are capable of changing by easing unconscious tension.

Relationship and family dynamics are a collective expression of unconscious tension as are global dynamics. These can be eased without making anyone wrong.

Childhood conditions - Autism, Down Syndrome and all conditions are expressions of unconscious tension. You can help your child find more ease in life while still maintaining the special qualities that they came in with.

The practice is simple, gentle and allowing of change instead of pushing, trying and endlessly discussing. Anyone can learn how to find more ease and grace in life using this gentle approach as a way of moving through life's challenges and for your own personal growth.

Metamorphosis reminds us that we are all capable of tremendous change and that we can all do that for ourselves and our own families and friends.

Metamorphosis as a Healing Art

Metamorphosis addresses unconscious patterns of tension that create mental, emotional, physical and behavioral disturbances. As these patterns let go, you experience greater well-being.

Metamorphosis does not aim to heal, an important distinction. As unconscious tension eases healing is the natural response. The beauty of this is that you take your focus off of symptoms and problems. This encourages you to focus on what you love in life.

"Metamorphosis heals at the most primary level, that of the principle of life within us. Metamorphosis does not "cure"; it enables us to create a different attitude towards life, and it is this, which alters our troubles, we cease to create illness." - Robert St. John

Metamorphosis as a Way of Life

The principles of Metamorphosis help you view your problems, past and present relationships and even our global dynamics in a new light. Understanding that patterns are unconscious and compulsive allows you to be more loving towards yourself and others. Accepting yourself 'as you are' is quite freeing. It is nice to give your mind a break from trying to decide what is wrong with you, how you got that way, whose fault it is, etc.

The practice of Metamorphosis is non-verbal and non-directive. You can work on yourself, friends, family and animals. As unconscious tension eases you will find that you are able to be the person you want to be - happier, healthier, more in-tune and less reactive. Creating happier homes and a more gentle world.

Metamorphosis as a Spiritual Path

Metamorphosis can be viewed as a spiritual approach to living. As tension eases, you naturally begin to feel the connection to the greater source of life. The connection was always there but unconscious tension creates a sense of separation.

You also begin to experience the natural state of being psychic or aware. As unconscious tension eases, you reconnect with your intuition and become more 'in tune' with life around you.

Metamorphosis is a natural, or organic, process of regaining connection to your spirit. You can work on yourself as needed through-out your life. Taking responsibility for your own patterns of tension is the greatest thing that you can do to assist with the challenging global situation. As we individually lighten our loads, collectively we will create more peace and harmony.

Although Metamorphosis is an attitude of mind and very simple to use, we have been indoctrinated over the centuries by structures of thought in religion, philosophy and education in such a way that our ability to think and function from the level of thought is tied to these same structures and we are not free to "think" from our own inner intelligence. We need some ritual to "unthink" this structure. That, in principle, is what Metamorphosis is. What physical practice there is in Metamorphosis is a symbol for the mind to change all of the indoctrination of the past and to "be come" the present.
